thyssenkrupp is seeking a warehouse associate to move raw materials, finished products, and equipment on the warehouse floor using forklift trucks. You may operate cranes, hoists, and hand trucks while ensuring accuracy and safety.

The role involves standing on the floor near heavy machinery, meeting inventory and safety standards, and supporting general operations. Schedule is Mon-Thu 6PM to 6AM with pay of 19.00–21.00 USD per hour plus a 1.25 shift differential.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years warehousing experience, metals industry preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. for 100 ft.
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately remove and stock product per inventory plan.
• Accurately select product to fill customer orders and package properly.
• Load and unload trucks and verify correct items loaded/unloaded.
• Process and pack orders; may cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.
• Cycle Counts.
• Identify, hold and segregate defective material.
• Complete paperwork per work instructions.
• Perform general clean up.
• Inspect forklift at shift start; report issues.
• Support health, safety, ISO and 6S initiatives.
• Assist in other duties to support operation; train others when required.
• Position works directly on warehouse floor around heavy machinery.

• Accurately select product to fill customer orders and package them properly
• Load and unload trucks and verify that correct items are loaded and unloaded
• Picking, processing and packing orders, also may be required to cut orders on Kaltenbach saw
• Cycle Counts
• Identify, hold and segregate defective material
• Complete paperwork per work instructions, when required
• Perform general clean up
• Inspect forklift at the beginning of every shift; report issues to immediate supervisor or other designated personnel
• Participate, support and comply with all health, safety, ISO and 6S Initiatives and requirements
• Assist in any other duties to support the operation, as requested by supervisor or team lead
• Train others when required

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED
• 2 to 4 years of warehousing experience - especially in Metals industry
• History of consistent dependable attendance
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs. for 100 feet
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math skills
• Previous forklift certification
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motions

Preferred Requirements

• Use of handheld measuring tools preferred
• Basic computer skills and knowledge, such as with database programs and Microsoft Office programs preferred
• LEAN and/or Quality Control experience preferred

Job Compensation

Schedule: Mon- Thursday 6PM to 6AM

Hourly Rate: 19.00-21.00 + 1.25 Shift differential.
