Job summary

ThyssenKrupp Supply Chain SVC in Kyle, TX is hiring a High Reach Forklift Operator for night shift (6:00 PM–4:30 AM). The role requires proficient high reach forklift experience and the ability to work safely on the warehouse floor.

You will pick, pack, and load goods, perform cycle counts, inspect equipment, and help maintain 6S and safety standards. This full-time position offers benefits and opportunities to contribute to a fast-paced distribution team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to perform basic math skills.
• Previous forklift experience.
• Must be able to sit for long periods and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motions.
• Safety Mindset.

Responsibilities

• Accurately removes and stocks product according to inventory plan.
• Selects products to fill customer orders and packs them properly.
• Loads and unloads trucks and verifies correct items loaded/unloaded.
• Picks, processes and packs orders; may cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.
• Performs cycle counts and inspects materials for defects.
• Completes paperwork per work instructions when required.
• Inspects forklift at start of shift and reports issues.
• Supports health, safety, ISO and 6S initiatives.
• Performs other duties to support the operation on the warehouse floor.

Job Summary

High Reach Forklift Operator - Night Shift

Schedule: Monday-Thursday | 6:00 PM-4:30 AM

Must have: Proficient high reach forklift experience

Key Accountabilities

• Accurately removes and stocks product, customer's product, and various supplies according to inventory plan.
• Accurately selects product to fill customer orders and package them properly.
• Loads and unload trucks and verifies that correct items are loaded and unloaded.
• Picking, processing and packing orders, also may be required to cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.
• Completes cycle Counts.
• Identifies, holds and segregates defective material.
• Completes paperwork per work instructions, when required.
• Performs general clean up.
• Inspects forklift at the beginning of every shift; report issues to immediate supervisor or other designated personnel.
• Participates, support and comply with all health, safety, ISO and 6S Initiatives and requirements.
• Assists in any other duties to support the operation, as requested by supervisor or team lead.
• This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs. for 100 feet
• Ability to perform basic math skills
• Previous forklift experience

Preferred Requirements

• Use of handheld measuring tools
• Basic computer skills and knowledge, such as with database programs and Microsoft Office programs.
