Job summary

Thyssenkrupp Materials NA in Park City, KS, is seeking a warehouse forklift operator to move raw materials and finished goods on the warehouse floor. The role involves loading/unloading, order picking, and ensuring accurate packaging for customer orders.

Responsibilities also include cycle counts, forklift inspections at shift start, and supporting health, safety, ISO and 6S initiatives. The position works on-site in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read and write in English; bilingual capability may be needed in some locations.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs. for 100 feet.
• Ability to perform basic math skills.
• Previous forklift experience is required.
• Must be able to sit for long periods and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motions.
• Safety mindset is essential.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities

Job Summary

Responsible for movement of raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift truck. May also utilize cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other moving equipment to meet job requirements. Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

• Accurately removes and stocks product, customer's product, and various supplies according to inventory plan.
• Accurately selects product to fill customer orders and package them properly.
• Loads and unload trucks and verifies that correct items are loaded and unloaded.
• Picking, processing and packing orders, also may be required to cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.
• Completes cycle Counts.
• Identifies, holds and segregates defective material.
• Completes paperwork per work instructions, when required.
• Performs general clean up.
• Inspects forklift at the beginning of every shift; report issues to immediate supervisor or other designated personnel.
• Participates, support and comply with all health, safety, ISO and 6S Initiatives and requirements.
• Assists in any other duties to support the operation, as requested by supervisor or team lead.
• This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.
