Job summary

Atlas Roofing Web Technologies is seeking a High Pressure Boiler Operator in Franklin, OH. You will operate and maintain the boiler system, ensuring safe, continuous operation and adherence to all plant safety rules and PPE requirements.

The role requires the ability to troubleshoot, monitor, and report maintenance needs, with occasional training travel. A valid Class 1 Boiler Operators License and a High School diploma or GED are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must have current and valid Class 1 Boiler Operators License.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, holidays and overtime for 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot and maintain boiler system.
• Follow all plant safety rules and PPE requirements.
• Monitor boiler operation for safety and optimal performance.
• Perform minor and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Report maintenance items to Maintenance and use Work Order system.
• Monitor Still Yard and Blow Still conditions to prevent upset conditions.

Job description

Atlas Roofing Web Technologies is seeking a High Pressure Boiler Operator for Franklin, OH.

High Pressure Boiler Operator Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for following all plant rules of conduct and safety rules including all safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Will be able to operate, troubleshoot and maintain system, and all operations pertaining to Boiler Operation.
• Responsible for the continuous safe operation.
• Monitor Boiler to ensure safety and optimum operation
• Perform minor and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Responsible to report any and all maintenance related items to Maintenance and utilize the Work Order system.
• Continually monitor conditions in the Still Yard and Blow Still to ensure upset conditions do not occur. This includes but is not limited to machinery, temperature, steam, air and boiler operations.
• Must be trained in the Emergency Generator operation.
• Assist with general maintenance as needed.
• Minimal travel requirements as needed for training, etc, as determined by Supervision.
• Any and all other responsibilities as assigned by Supervision.

High Pressure Boiler Operator Experience

• Minimum State required Hours experience with a High Pressure Boiler

High Pressure Boiler Operator Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Organization: Must have sound organizational skills in order to process job related data
• and in relation to work area materials.

High Pressure Boiler Operator Education, Licenses & Certifications

• Must be able to work rotating shift schedule, holidays and overtime, maintaining a 24/7 Operation
• Must have current and valid Class 1 Boiler Operators License
