Salary: $25-$35 per hour depending on experience and location.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Monitorand maintainoptimalfuel combustion in boiler systems to ensure efficientand reliableoperation.
- Operateand control variousauxiliaryequipment, includingdeaerators, feedwater pumps ensuringoptimalreliability.
- Monitorboiler gauges, meters, and control panels to ensure proper functionality, andadjustcontrols as needed tomaintaindesired boiler performance.
- Monitorand regulate fuel feed systems, ensuring an adequate and consistent fuel supply.
- Perform routine inspections and tests on fuel systems, burners, and relatedequipment toidentifyand resolve any malfunctions or abnormalities.
- Maintaina clean and safe workplace.Keepboilerroomclean and organized.
- Assistwith the maintenance and repair of boiler systems, including replacingor repairingworn or damaged parts as needed.
- Follow established safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, includingfire hazards.
- Keepaccuraterecords of boiler operations, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
- Perform rounds to the mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety,and controlsystems. Keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned.

- Comply withall applicablelocal, state, and federalcodes, regulations, andcompany directivesrelated to building operations and work safety.
- Maintainan energy management program. Ensure all systemsoperatein the mostefficient manner.
- Assistwith the implementation of a preventive maintenance program to ensurebuildingequipment reliability.
- Follow departmental policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal ofhazardous materials.
- Review inspectiontobuilding systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbingtoensureoperation of equipment is within design capabilities andachievesenvironmental conditionsprescribed by client.
- Work within broad guidelines and policies.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems and report tomanager.
- Exchangestraightforward informationin a clear, concise manner.Clearly explaindifficult or sensitive information.
- Collaborate with other team members, such as Boiler Operators and maintenancestaff, toensure smooth operation and maintenance of the boiler system.
- Ability to apply standard principles and techniques to solve routine operational problems.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with an inquisitive mindset.
- Knowledge of Microsoft OfficeSuite(Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Learn CMMS (EAM) for Preventive Maintenance andworkordercompletion and tracking
- Enterqualitydetailedcomments(including, but not limited to equipment data)
- Understand search and filter features
- ConfigureDataspyas needed
Learn basic BMS system operations - Delta and Metasys
- Understand and master viewing graphics screens
- Document and communicateinconsistent operational events
Learn basic ServiceNow Service ticketing

Physical Requirements:
Ability tostoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
