Job summary

Coshoctonchamber in Ohio is seeking a Boiler Operator to help run a food-grade facility safely and efficiently. You will work with the full team to maintain accurate spare parts inventory and support production goals.

The ideal candidate holds an Ohio High Pressure Boiler Operator License, a valid driver’s license, and has knowledge of water chemistry and boiler systems. You will follow safety procedures and communicate via two-way radios to keep operations running smoothly.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work in a safe and efficient manner at all times.
• Work to help maintain an accurate spare parts inventory.
• Work with entire staff to accomplish goals safely and effectively.
• Follow plant safety procedures.
• Must possess enthusiasm for their job and enjoy working in a team structure.
• Communicate with and report to the Production Manager
• Must be able to read, write and effectively communicate using the English language and be able to communicate via two-way radios.
• See also responsibilities of production operators.
• Responsible for following food safety regulations and company policies is essential to ensure the integrity of our food‑grade production processes.

Qualifications

Education / Certification: State of Ohio, High Pressure Boiler Operator License required.

Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Desired Knowledge / Experience

• Use knowledge of water chemistry to operate, maintain and troubleshoot Superior package boilers, deaerator, cooling tower and water systems.
• Safe work history is a requirement.
• Use skills to ensure continuous operation of the facility.
• Knowledge of Mapcon maintenance management system and data entry for work orders, maintenance scheduling, and inventory.
