Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• State of Ohio High Pressure Boiler Operator License is required.
• Three years of experience working with High Pressure Boilers is required.
• Experience with advance control systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, cleans, lubricates, paints, and repairs high-pressure boilers and associated mechanical equipment using safe and efficient processes.
• Conducts regular inspections of the boiler and its components to identify and address issues; coordinates annual shutdowns.
• Tests and analyses water quality and other equipment to maintain efficient steam system operations.
• Maintains logs of boiler operations, including pressure, temperature, and fuel consumption.
• Cleans and maintains boiler components to prevent corrosion and buildup.
• Responds quickly to emergencies or malfunctions during boiler operation.
