Job summary

Goodyear Findlay plant is seeking a Highly Skilled Boiler Operator to operate, service, and maintain power equipment including boilers, pumps, and turbines. The role requires strict safety adherence and the ability to work a 12-hour 2-2-3 shift schedule, including weekends.

You will monitor condensate systems, take water samples, perform repairs, and log changes while maintaining inventory of parts and chemicals. A valid Ohio Boiler Operator license and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• State of Ohio High Pressure Boiler Operator License required.

Responsibilities

• Operate, service and maintain boilers, compressors, pumps and turbines.
• Check and maintain condensate systems and steam mains.
• Take water samples and test water quality; perform necessary corrective actions.
• Routinely monitor equipment and logs; perform repairs as needed.
• Maintain inventory of replacement parts and chemicals; attend training classes.
