Qualifications

• High pressure boiler operator’s license required.
• State of Ohio High Pressure Operators License; ongoing training for skill upkeep.
• Valid driver’s license required (Ohio residency), with fleet policy compliance.
• Five consecutive years of experience as a high pressure boiler operator preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain stationary boilers and related mechanical equipment to support hospital utilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, motors, valves, and control systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues across building systems.
• Respond to emergencies and codes, ensuring safety and continuity of operations.
• Document daily activities and participate in department training.
