AKG North American Operations Inc is seeking a High Horsepower (HHP) Assembler in Mitchell, SD for the 1st shift. You will locate, retrieve, and assemble parts for large, complex units using 3D models and work orders.

Move completed units with cranes and forklifts, prep for shipping, and ensure quality per AKG standards. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in manufacturing with assembly experience, can read blueprints, and are capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience; 1 year of assembly preferred.
• Ability to read and follow detailed blueprints, work instructions, and 3D models.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with steel components and bearings.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and using powered equipment safely.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.

Responsabilités

• Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and 3D models.
• Inspect parts such as steel components, fans, bearings, bushings, sheaves, and shafts; adjust as needed.
• Locate and retrieve parts required for assembly.
• Move assemblies safely using motorized cranes or forklifts.
• Assemble components accurately following blueprints and models.
• Document completed assemblies to AKG and industry standards.
• Meet production quotas and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Report issues to supervisors promptly and follow environmental standards.
