The role requires handling a demanding workload with weekly reporting, and collaboration with the DOS, catering, and other teams to ensure guest satisfaction and successful event execution.

Qualifications

• Strong business communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a high demand, sometimes high pressure environment.
• May require travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct aggressive sales solicitation including outside calls and appointments; 80% in active sales.
• Assist the Director of Sales in the annual marketing plan and market segment action plans.
• Send proposals on leads fitting the property profile and follow through to convert to definite status.
• Outline room block, meeting space, and catering requirements on booking sheets for accurate reservations.
• Obtain and route necessary information for definite groups; document details for catering follow-up.
• Maintain a sales quota and ensure guest satisfaction; prepare weekly sales reports and itineraries.
• Collaborate with colleagues and promote guest service with courtesy and a positive attitude.
