The Gillis Organization is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead high-volume operations at McDonald's in South Plainfield, NJ. In this full-time role, you will take ownership of restaurant profitability, guide a dedicated managerial team, and uphold gold-standard customer service across every shift.

You will manage daily operations, collaborate with franchise leadership, and develop a strong leadership bench while ensuring guest satisfaction and team engagement.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a General Manager running high-volume locations.
• Professional background in quick-service restaurants (QSR), hospitality, or retail management.
• Proven track record of coaching, developing, and promoting staff.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and team direction skills.

Responsibilities

• Enforce Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards across all dayparts to deliver a superior customer experience.
• Partner with franchise leadership to establish restaurant goals, track operational metrics, and drive overall profitability.
• Guide Department Managers in establishing priorities and refining daily routines to enhance outcomes.
• Recruit, onboard, and mentor Department Managers and Shift Managers to build leadership depth.
• Maintain a welcoming, inclusive restaurant atmosphere where patrons and team members feel valued and respected.
