Job summary

Focus is seeking a Cross Dock Operations Manager in Eastvale, CA to oversee daily high-volume cross-dock operations, optimize trailer utilization, maintain inventory accuracy, and enforce safety and quality standards. You will coordinate with labor providers, guide staff, and drive on-time freight movements in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3–5 years in cross-dock or logistics management, strong leadership, and proficiency with WMS/TMS and MS Office.

Qualifications

3–5 years of cross-dock or warehouse management experience.
Experience with palletized freight and furniture handling.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficient with logistics software and MS Office.
Ability to work extended hours during peak periods.

Responsibilities

FIFO management: prioritize oldest freight.
Trailer space optimization to maximize utilization.
Coordinate with 4th party labor provider for service execution.
Manage outbound loads and ensure on-time departures.
Process inbound freight within 24 hours and place into lanes or outbound trailers.
Lead, train, and support warehouse staff to meet targets.
Resolve operational issues to maintain workflow continuity.
Support dispatch operations for scheduling and load planning.
Enforce safety policies, OSHA regulations, and SOPs.
