Job summary

GT's Living Foods is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead the accounting function, reporting to the CFO. The role owns the general ledger, close processes, and the accuracy of US GAAP financials, including AR, payables, payroll, inventory, and tax compliance.

A leader who can mentor the team in a fast-paced, founder-led environment will thrive. The ideal candidate brings deep CPG experience, strong technical accounting, and solid experience with deductions and major retailers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 8–10 years progressive accounting experience with 3+ years in Controller/Assistant Controller role.
• Experience with CPG accounts receivable and trade deductions, including UNFI/KeHE.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and year-end close under US GAAP.
• Lead AR, deductions, and credit management; coordinate with D365 integration.
• Oversee inventory accounting across locations and reserves.
• Manage accounts payable, payroll, and cash forecasting.
• Design and enforce SOX-level internal controls and policies.
• Direct external audit and tax compliance activities.
• Drive system/process improvements in Dynamics 365 and related tools.
