Job summary

Bear Valley Mountain Resort is seeking professional, high-energy bartender/servers to serve cocktails, beverages and food at our Village Bar. You will greet guests, learn preferences, upsell items, answer questions, and ensure guest satisfaction.

Full Time and Part Time positions are available, with regular shifts in a ski resort setting. Responsibilities include taking orders, using the POS system, delivering accurately, and maintaining clean service areas.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining and service areas for opening.
• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional guest service.
• Greet guests, present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations.
• Take food and beverage orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
• Deliver orders promptly and ensure accuracy and guest satisfaction.
• Check on guests throughout their meals and respond to requests or concerns.
• Promote menu specials and make appropriate recommendations.
• Process payments accurately and maintain cash accountability.
• Clear and reset tables and maintain clean dining and service areas.
• Restock supplies and assist with opening and closing duties.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
