Bear Valley Mountain Resort LLC in Bear Valley, California, is seeking professional bartenders with high energy and excellent communication to serve cocktails and beverages to guests. You will greet customers, learn preferences, answer questions, suggest menu items, upsell, and maintain bar and dining area.
Full-time and part-time positions available. You must be 21+ and able to handle cash and POS; assist with cleaning and follow safety procedures in a high-volume winter resort environment.
We are looking for professional, high-energy bartenders with excellent communication skills to serve classical cocktails and beverages to our customers. Our bartenders greet customers, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food. You will also upsell items, create recipes, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties.

Weather, snow conditions and the number of guests play a large role intheworkschedulingof Bear Valley employees.
When conditions are normal, you may be expected to work 40 up to 48 hours per week,including weekends and holidays. During busy periods – especially the holiday periods in December andthemonthsofJanuaryandFebruary–youmaybeexpectedtoworksix(6)daysa week.
You must arrange for transportation to work so that you arriveatyourdesignatedworkstationat the scheduled time.Keep in mind that you will oftenberequiredtodriveonhilly,snowpacked, and icy road.
Atanytimeduringtheskiseason,BearValleyemployeesareoftenrequiredtoperformtheir tasks in high winds, heavy snowfalls, low visibility, rain, and extremely cold or warm temperatures.
A professional appearance at Bear Valley is required. Please wear your name tag and uniform at all times during your scheduled shift. We will provide most of the uniform for you to do your job. This uniform is for work hours ONLY, no exceptions.
You will be required to provide some items as part of your job.
The quality, color, and style of the items must be approved by your manager prior to being worn to work. All hats worn must have the Bear Valley logo while on shift.
Theskiing/ridingemployeerepresentsamodelforsafeskiingforboththeguestandfellow employees.You are required to be aware of all safe skiing procedures, trail closures, and out-of-bounds policies of the mountain.
