Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old (21+ depending on state law)
• Prior bartending experience preferred
• Valid alcohol service certification required or obtained on hire
• Knowledge of classic and craft cocktails, beer and wine
• Strong multitasking and fast-paced efficiency
• Excellent communication and guest service skills
• Basic math for cash handling and tabs

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes with consistency and quality
• Greet guests at the bar, take orders, and make menu recommendations
• Check IDs and monitor alcohol service in compliance with law and policy
• Operate POS system to enter orders, process payments, and manage tabs
• Maintain a clean, stocked bar station with garnishes, glassware, and liquor
• Follow recipes and pouring standards to control cost and consistency
• Comply with health, safety, and sanitation standards and keep bar clean
• Coordinate with servers, barbacks, and kitchen staff for smooth service
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed
• Assist with opening/closing bar duties, inventory, and cash-out
• Support promotions and specials (e.g., happy hour) as directed
