Job summary

Miskiri Hospitality Group in Baltimore, MD seeks a skilled Bartender to deliver energetic, guest-centered service behind the bar in a fast-paced venue. You will craft cocktails, beer, and wine to standard recipes, greet guests, suggest pairings, handle cash and tabs, and maintain a clean, well-stocked station.

This role requires 18+ (21+ where legal), prior bartending experience, and valid alcohol certification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old; 21+ may be required by state law.
• Prior bartending experience preferred; strong cocktail knowledge a plus.
• Valid alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol) required or obtained upon hire.
• Working knowledge of classic and craft cocktails, beer, and wine.
• Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Basic math skills for cash, tabs, and inventory.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes with consistency.
• Greet guests, take orders, and make recommendations.
• Check IDs and monitor responsible alcohol service.
• Operate POS, enter orders, process payments, manage tabs.
• Keep bar stocked, clean, and organized.
• Follow recipes and portioning to control costs.
• Comply with health and sanitation standards.
• Coordinate with servers, barbacks, and kitchen staff.
• Handle guest concerns professionally; escalate when needed.
• Assist with opening/closing duties including inventory and cash-out.
• Support promotions and specials as directed.
