Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years experience bartending at high-volume bars or nightclubs.
• Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, and garnishments.
• Formal bartending training preferred.
• Must meet state legal age requirements.
• Fluent English required; other languages preferred.
• Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or health card.
• Reading and writing abilities used when taking orders and paperwork.
• Mathematical skills used frequently.
• May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide energetic, outgoing personality while maintaining professionalism.
• Mix cocktails and drinks per recipes.
• Serve wine and beer.
• Take beverage orders from guests or staff.
• Check IDs to ensure legal drinking age.
• Present promotions to guests.
• Record orders and secure payment accurately.
