Job summary

Shamin Hotels in Maryland is seeking a Bartender to prepare and serve drinks, verify age, handle payments, and maintain bar inventory. You will engage guests with a welcoming service and ensure orders are accurate and timely.

Responsibilities include setting up the bar, taking orders, mixing drinks, assisting servers, and maintaining a clean, organized area. Training may be provided for TIP certification and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Must have basic Reading, Writing, and Math skills.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Customer Service Skills required.
• Prioritization and time management skills required.
• Must have a strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Sets up a bar with supplies and product prior to opening to ensure a smooth flow of service.
• Receives and prepares drink orders from guests and servers using standard pours and recipes; ensures accuracy of order
• Rings drink orders into register, collects money and makes correct change
• Provide immediate attention to all guests upon seating and enhance guest relations
• Closes down bar, inventory secured, bar cleaned and sanitized
