Job summary

Premium Velocity Auto (PVA) / Jiffy Lube is seeking a hands-on Assistant General Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and coach a frontline team for exceptional guest experiences.

You will oversee opening/closing, cash handling, inventory, recruiting, and training, while upholding J Team Service Standards and safety compliance in a fast-paced Houston location. Strong communication and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail management experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to use computers and complete required forms.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship).
• Comfortable with a fast-paced, hands-on leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Opening/closing the store and maintaining a clean, safe, operationally excellent environment.
• Overseeing cash handling and POS procedures.
• Assisting with inventory ordering, receiving, and tracking.
• Recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and scheduling team members.
• Leading by example using J Team Service Standards while performing lube services.
• Creating a positive guest experience and resolving concerns with professionalism.
• Ensuring Environmental, Health & Safety compliance.
• Taking ownership of operations when the GM is away.
