Job summary

Halfords is recruiting a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join our team. You will be skilled in servicing and repair/replacement work and handle more complex tasks like clutch and timing belt replacements, plus diagnostics in areas such as vehicle electrics, brakes, steering and suspension.

The role requires a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or time served) and a full UK driving licence with minimal points.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full driver’s licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experienced Technician/Mechanic able to carry out diagnostic work (brakes, steering/suspension, engine) and more complex repair and replacements.
