Job summary

Modern Nissan in the United States, North Carolina, Cornelius, is seeking an experienced Service Advisor for its high-volume service department. This role offers a base salary plus commission and an attractive package including health insurance, dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation, and employee pricing.

As a Service Advisor, you will greet customers, document concerns, write detailed RO, communicate timelines and pricing, and ensure customer satisfaction through clear updates

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive service advisement preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-volume shop.
• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a professional, welcoming experience.
• Document vehicle concerns accurately from customers.
• Write detailed repair orders and recommend maintenance/repairs.
• Communicate repair recommendations, pricing, and timelines clearly.
• Keep customers updated throughout the repair process.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure proper and efficient repairs.
• Review completed work with customers and explain the service performed.
• Build lasting customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction and CSI.
• Identify additional maintenance opportunities when appropriate.
• Follow dealership and manufacturer processes and standards.
• Handle customer questions professionally.
