Job summary

Apploi is seeking an experienced Direct Support Professional for a higher-acuity, behavioral one-to-one assignment in Hopatcong, NJ. You will follow individualized behavior and safety protocols, assist with communication, routines and independence, and respond to urgent concerns.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in DSP, CNA, HHA or similar high-support role REQUIRED.
• Strong reliability, judgment and communication; ability to follow detailed protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide close one-to-one supervision and safety monitoring.
• Follow individualized behavioral and safety protocols within DSP scope and training.
• Support communication, routines, community participation, and independence.
• Use approved support strategies consistently and calmly.
• Respond appropriately to urgent concerns and follow emergency procedures.
