Job summary

Apploi is seeking a Direct Care DSP to support a 30-year-old woman with limited verbal communication in home and community settings. The role requires calm judgment, reliability, and adherence to established behavior support strategies, with structured, one-to-one supervision in Hopatcong, NJ. Schedule: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10 am – 2 pm, with possible weekends.

Pay: $18–$24/hr. Driving on shift is REQUIRED.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in DSP, CNA, HHA, behavioral health or similar high-support role is required.
• Ability to follow detailed protocols and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to complete all required training and competency requirements before working independently.
• Strong reliability and calmness under pressure.

About This Opportunity

This position requires a DSP with strong judgment, reliability, and relevant direct-care experience. Assist a 30 year old young high functioning woman with limited verbal communication. The ideal candidate must be able to remain calm under pressure, follow established behavior support strategies, and provide consistent, structured support in the home and community. The assignment rate reflects the complexity and expectations of this specific case.
