Job summary

Kindly Direct Care is seeking an experienced Direct Support Professional for a higher-acuity one-to-one assignment in Hainesport, NJ. The DSP must show strong judgment, reliability and experience with direct-care tasks.

Responsibilities include close supervision, mobility/ADL support, following protocols, and reporting health or safety changes. Training and competency requirements must be completed before working independently.

Qualifications

• Experience in direct-care roles (DSP/CNA/HHA) preferred.
• Strong reliability, judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to follow detailed protocols and guidelines.
• Must meet the physical requirements of the assignment.
• Driving on shift is not required.
• Ability to complete required training and competency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide close one-to-one supervision and safety monitoring.
• Assist with mobility and activities of daily living as required.
• Follow individualized behavioral, medical, health, and safety protocols.
• Support communication, routines, community participation, and independence.
• Apply approved support strategies consistently and calmly.
• Report changes in health, behavior, functioning, or safety promptly.
• Respond to urgent concerns and follow emergency procedures.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate with the care team.
