AMG Specialty Hospital – Northwest Indiana is seeking an experienced High-Acuity Clinical Supervisor (RN) for FT Nights in Crown Point, IN. You will lead a focused nursing team delivering advanced care to high-acuity patients and coordinate with physicians and therapists to drive positive outcomes.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, Indiana RN license, and current BLS/ACLS, with prior high-acuity experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• IndianaRN license active and unencumbered.
• BLS and ACLS certifications current.
• Experience in high-acuity setting preferred; willing to train and precept.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise clinical nursing team and support advancing nursing care.
• Assess, plan, and evaluate care cycles for transitional patients from ICU.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and leadership to improve outcomes.
• Keep CCO & CEO informed of risks that could affect the hospital.

AMG Specialty Hospital is aboutique Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility. We provide exceptional,high-acuity care to a small, focused subset of patients requiring extended ICUstays, ventilator support, vasopressors, or advanced wound management. As a privately held specialty hospital,our Clinical Supervisors and Nurses are highly valued, share in our success andenjoy a close-knit, specialized clinical environment over a massive, impersonalhealth system.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading & supervising clinical nursing team and supports deliveringadvanced nursing care.
• Assess, plan, and evaluate comprehensive care cycles for patientstransitioning from traditional ICUs.
• Collaborate closely with clinical staff, physicians, respiratorytherapists, and leadership to drive positive patient outcomes.
• Works collaboratively to keep CCO & CEO apprised of situationsof that may place hospital at risk.

Job Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure: Active, unencumbered Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience: Prior nursing experience in a high-acuity setting (e.g., ICU,Step-down, CCU, or high-acuity LTAC) is highly preferred. Willing to trainand precept self-motivated RNspassionate about critical care.
• Skills: Strong clinical assessment capabilities and prior leadershipexperience; engaged, self-motivated clinical leader; professional fluencyin verbal and written English.
