The Music Room is seeking a Home Audio Repair Technician to diagnose and repair pre-owned HiFi gear. You will handle the full repair lifecycle, from intake and diagnostics to re-listing items after successful testing, across a wide range of brands and eras.

Responsibilities include circuit and PCB repair, bench testing, parts management, and documentation. A strong background in HiFi electronics and precise soldering is required, with a passion for quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in component-level diagnostics and repair of high-end audio gear.
• Knowledge of audio amplifier topologies and power supplies.
• Proficiency with bench test equipment and soldering.

Responsabilités

• Conduct component-level diagnostics and repairs on high-end 2-channel home audio equipment.
• Perform PCB soldering/desoldering and hardware repair.
• Operate bench test equipment to calibrate and verify performance to factory specs.
• Document repairs, parts used, and test results in the ticketing system.
• Manage repair queues and coordinate with parts/vendors as needed.
