Job summary

The Music Room in Denver is seeking a Home Audio Repair Technician to optimize the lifecycle and quality of our pre-owned HiFi inventory. You will diagnose, repair, test, and document updates to ensure listings stay current and items return to market quickly.

You will work both independently and with a team, handling bench testing, parts management, and collaboration with intake and customer-facing teams to maintain top-tier service in a high-end audio environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in component-level electronic diagnostics and repair.
• Grounding in electronic theory and audio amplifier topologies.
• Proficiency with oscilloscope, multimeter, audio analyzers.
• Ability to manage multi-brand repairs efficiently.
• Organized with strong written communication for ticketing.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics and repairs at component level for high-end audio.
• PCB soldering/desoldering and circuit repair.
• Operate bench test equipment to verify specs.
• Document findings and BOMs in the ticketing system.
• Coordinate with intake and customer-facing teams.
