Job summary

GlobalPoint HC in Hawaii seeks an experienced CT Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. The candidate must hold a Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT CT certification, with BLS active and at least two years in an acute hospital CT setting.

• BLS certification current and in good standing.
• Minimum two years’ acute hospital CT experience.
• Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units and Vitrea workstation.
• Proficient in venipuncture and CT imaging techniques (MIP/MPR/3D).

Responsibilities

• Scan per radiologist protocols and perform routine CT exams.
• Function independently without supervision when needed.
• Operate Meditech EMR and imaging workstations for image generation.
• Assist with advanced CT imaging procedures (MIP/MPR/3D) and venipuncture as required.
• Adapt to shift variations and maintain workflow with patient safety as priority.

Job description

Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer. Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment. NO RTO WILL BE GRANTED IN THE FIRST 13 WEEKS OF CONTRACT Proof of flu vaccination or facility approved application for medical or religious exception will be required prior to contract start date. Flu vaccination can be administered during employee health clearance appointment. Licensure: A current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer. Certification: A current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT certification in Computed Tomography, and a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Shifts: shifts may vary by need. No call.

General Requirements

• A minimum of two (2) years' work experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Must be able to scan per radiologist protocols, perform at minimum routine CT scans, and function independently without supervision.
• Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation preferred.
• Experience with venipuncture, performing MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging, procedures like biopsies or drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke a plus.
