Redstone Presbyterian SeniorCare in Greensburg, PA is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team. As a PCA, you'll provide personalized care and support to residents, improving their quality of life in a warm, community setting.

We offer on-site HHA/CNA training with on-the-job learning, paid training, and opportunities for career advancement. A CNA/HCA certification is encouraged and training is provided; driving license required.

Qualifications

• CNA or HCA certification required or will train.
• Must possess a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License in good standing, free of traffic violations.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychosocial support and personal care to residents, including bathing, grooming and skin care.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using devices as trained.
• Assist with toileting, incontinence care and continence management.
• Plan and assist with nutritious meals and prescribed diets.
• Assist clients with self-administered medications as directed.
• Perform homemaking tasks and accompany clients on errands as needed.
• Observe, report and document client status and care provided.

Direct Care Worker (DCW) and Home Health Aide (HHA) Training Available! Get paid while you learn! Earn $300 for the DCW track and $500 for the HHA track. Complete both tracks and earn $650! This money goes directly to you. Candidates must first complete forty (40) hours of work to be eligible, and training must be completed on-site at the Greensburg facility within 30 days of hire.

As a Home Health Aide (HHA) supporting the Redstone mission will include the following responsibilities:

• Provide psychosocial support and personal care to the client, including bathing (tub, shower, sponge, or bed bath), oral hygiene, hair care, shampooing, shaving, skin care, nail care, foot care, and dressing.
• Assist client with mobility, including walking, transferring, turning, and positioning including the use of transfer devices such as the Hoyer lift and transfer board. Assist client with prescribed exercises to which the client and the aide have been trained.
• Assisting to the toilet and incontinence care including assistance with urinal, bedside commode, toilet use and bedpan.
• Plan, shop, prepare, or assist with nutritious meals and prescribed diets; includes cleanup of kitchen area.
• Assist clients to self-administer-medications. Verbally prompt or assist clients to respond to electronic medication reminder systems.
• Provide homemaking services, such as bed making, light housework, laundering, and errand running with client/family's agreement.
• Observing, reporting, and documenting client status and the care or service furnished.
