Job summary

Americare in Brooklyn is seeking an experienced Home Health Aide (HHA) Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment and onboarding of HHAs, focusing on sourcing, screening, interviewing, and moving candidates through hiring. The role requires travel to other offices and events; interviews and training occur at the Brooklyn office.

Reliable transportation is required. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with HR, and must be bilingual English/Spanish; proficiency with Excel, Word,

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Home Health Aide recruiting experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel to office locations and events.
• Experience sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring and onboarding HHAs.
• Knowledge of I-9, W-4, CHRC, HCR and pre-employment medical requirements.
• Ability to manage a high-volume pipeline (≈40 hires/month).
• Strong written and verbal communication; highly organized and proactive.
• Ability to work with HR and meet recruitment goals.
• Experience with Workday or similar ATS preferred.
• Overtime and travel as business needs require.

Americare is seeking an experienced HHA Recruiter to join our Brooklyn Recruitment team. The Recruiter will be responsible for the full-cycle recruitment and onboarding of Home Health Aides (HHAs), with a focus on sourcing qualified candidates, conducting interviews, coordinating pre-employment requirements, and successfully moving candidates through the hiring process.

Interviews and in-person training are primarily conducted at our Brooklyn office. This position also requires travel to other office locations, community recruitment events, job fairs, and other off-site recruiting initiatives as needed. Reliable transportation and/or the ability to travel independently are required.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of Home Health Aide recruiting experience required.

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

• Reliable vehicle / willingness to travel to various office locations and recruitment events required.

• Experience sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding HHAs.

• Working knowledge of HHA employment and compliance documentation; I-9, W-4, CHRC, HCR, pre-employment medical requirements, and HHA hiring best practices.

• Ability to manage a high-volume recruitment pipeline supporting a minimum goal of 40 hires per month.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Highly organized, proactive, and able to independently prioritize competing deadlines.

• Strong follow-through and attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively toward individual and department recruitment goals.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Experience with Workday or a similar Applicant Tracking System (ATS) preferred.

• Ability to work overtime as business needs require.

• Ability to travel between office locations and attend off-site recruitment events on time and as scheduled.
