Summary

We are hiring CNAs (certified nursing assistants) or HHAs (certified) in Southbury and surrounding areas to conduct home visits.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support and assistance with personal hygiene and household functions to help individuals remain in their own homes.

Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Report observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager. Notify immediately if any incidents or accidents occur.
• Drive safely, comply with traffic regulations, and wear a seat belt when traveling for work.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, denture care, nail care, skin care, and transfers.
• Assist with household tasks essential to the client's personal care.

Education and Experience

Experience Desired

• Six months of experience in personal care or home community-based services preferred.

License Requirements

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• Current CT CNA or HHA Certification.
