Summary

We are hiring CNAs (certified nursing assistants) or HHAs (certificate) in Southbury and surrounding areas to conduct home visits.

• 1:1 Patient Care
• Weekly Pay

• Starting pay rate: $16.35 per hour
• Paid training includes a 4-hour self-defense class

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support and assistance with personal hygiene and household functions to enable individuals to remain in their own homes.

Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Reports observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager. Notifies the Agency Director immediately if any incidents or accidents occur.
• Drives safely, complies with traffic regulations, and wears a seat belt when travel is required.
• May assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, denture care, nail care, skin care, and transfers.
• Assists with household tasks directly related to personal care.

Education and Experience

Experience Desired

• Six months experience in personal care or home community-based services preferred.

License Requirements

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• Current CT CNA or HHA Certification.
