Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. You will deliver care to residents in a warm, home-like environment, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring comfort and safety.

Required CNA license; prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living setting is preferred but not required. Dementia care experience is desirable and appreciated by our caring community.

Qualifications

• CNA license required or equivalent CNA/HHA/LNA certification.
• Experience in skilled nursing or assisted living is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with dementia care is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care provided and report changes to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Use customer service skills to ensure high-quality care.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
