HRG is seeking an undergraduate intern that will assist the Analytical Research Group.
This internship will be focused on Flash Chromatography of asphalt and comparison analysis with SARA.
The ultimate goal of the project is to develop a mathematical model to predict traditional SARA fraction analysis by Flash Chromatograph. When this project is completed, we will be able to tell which fractions of asphalt are impacted by aging (primarily by oxidation and UV damage). This will provide insight into rejuvenation products and also to coating products to protect asphalt pavement from aging.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
