Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Director of Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) in Lake County, IL, a hybrid role leading HEOR strategy for one or more assets and communicating insights to cross-functional teams and senior leadership. You will own end-to-end HEOR delivery, manage partnerships with COE functions, and drive economic evidence to support development and commercialization.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in health economics or related discipline.
PhD in Economics, Econometrics, or pharmacoepidemiology with 3 years of relevant experience.
Clinical research experience in pharmaceutical industry preferred.
3+ years of clinical development experience in pharmaceutical industry or related field.
Strong cross-functional leadership and external engagement.
Dermatology/HEOR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Oversees design and conduct of HEOR projects and communicates findings to internal and external audiences.
Provides product leadership to HEOR strategic direction aligned with cross-functional partners.
Ensures project plans integrate with product strategies and commercial goals.
Accountable for end-to-end HEOR delivery from strategy to content pull-through.
Engages senior leaders in cross-functional meetings and maintains HEOR voice across COEs.
