Job summary

The Henderson Beach Resort, part of Aimbridge Hospitality, is seeking a Director of Housekeeping to lead the department and maintain spotless guest rooms and public areas at our Florida Destin resort. You will guide housekeeping staff, manage schedules, budgets, and safety standards while upholding guest service excellence.

This full-time role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to stay composed under pressure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in hospitality or a related field or a 2-year college degree with 5+ years of relevant experience
• Supervisory experience required
• Proficient in Windows operating systems, spreadsheets, and word processing software
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, especially under pressure
• Ability to manage financial information and analyze complex data.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and elevate the Housekeeping Crew
• Schedule rosters, budgets, and behind-the-scenes logistics
• Uphold excellence in standards, safety, and guest privacy
• Coordinate with other departments for seamless service
• Be prepared for emergencies and provide quick response
• Create memorable stays through attentive service
• Inspect, improve, and exceed housekeeping quality standards
