Job summary

Versiti Blood Health & Medical Sciences Institute seeks an experienced physician leader to guide the Comprehensive Center for Bleeding Disorders and the federally designated Hemophilia Treatment Center.

The Program Director will shape strategic direction and collaborate with medical directors, researchers, and community organizations to expand access to high‑quality care and advance innovation for adults with bleeding disorders.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required with board certification in internal medicine or pediatrics.
• Hematology board certification or eligibility required within 120 days of hire.
• Wisconsin medical license or eligibility required.
• Experience in hematology and care of adults with hemophilia/bleeding disorders preferred.
• Strong leadership and program management experience expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-level program at care, research, education, advocacy, and stewardship.
• Serve as Authorizing Official for 340B HTCs.
• Build partnerships and infrastructure for current care and future needs.
• Develop physicians, researchers, trainees, and leaders to carry the work forward.
• Align clinical care, research, education, advocacy, and finances with mission.
