Job summary

Genentech is seeking a Therapeutic Area Manager (TAM) to support healthcare providers in a PA territory. This field-based role involves engaging with payers, health systems, and clinical staff to advance on-label product use and reimbursement education.

You will lead end-to-end account experiences, coach peers, and develop solutions across ecosystems while representing Genentech products with integrity. Overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Business, scientific or clinical degree, Bachelor's degree level at minimum
• Previous cross-functional industry experience in commercial life sciences engaging with key healthcare ecosystem players (e.g., payers, health systems) is required
• 6+ years of experience in a sales role with HCPs, ideally representing multiple products in a complex healthcare system environment
• Demonstrated ability to coach, train, and mentor peers to meet goals and responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for customers in the therapeutic area at the point of care
• Lead end-to-end experience for assigned accounts, driving clinical and non-clinical decisions
• Proactively develop solutions for complex accounts across ecosystems
• Represent Genentech products ethically and professionally with approved materials
• Ensure product access and provide education on product information, as well as reimbursement resources
