Job summary

TEEMA Group is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a hematology and oncology practice in Glendale, Arizona. This on-site role collaborates with medical oncology physicians to deliver comprehensive care, including evaluations, treatment planning, and symptom management.

The Advanced Practice Provider will support patients through treatment journeys with education and continuity of care, working Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Master's Degree in Nursing or an equivalent Physician Assistant degree.
• Current, unrestricted Arizona NP or PA license.
• Current DEA registration, as applicable.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Compassionate, patient-centered attitude with a commitment to high-quality care.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple patient care priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations.
• Order, review, and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in hematology/oncology.
• Monitor progress, assess responses, and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Manage treatment-related symptoms and supportive care needs.
• Provide ongoing follow-up care and patient education.
• Maintain thorough documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
