Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a Medical Oncology and Hematology team in Glendale, AZ. This provider will conduct comprehensive assessments, interpret tests, and develop individualized cancer care plans.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with physicians and staff, and ongoing professional development in oncology. Oncology experience is preferred but not required; strong clinical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Current NP or PA credentials and state licensure.
• Master’s degree in Nursing, PA Studies, or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, organization, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently within scope while collaborating with physicians and staff.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical exams.
• Review labs, imaging, and tests to guide decisions.
• Diagnose and manage conditions within scope of practice.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies.
• Prescribe medications per regulations.
• Monitor treatment responses and provide follow-up.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and care.
• Communicate results and recommendations promptly to patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members; escalate when needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and confidentiality.
