Job summary

Palo Verde Cancer Specialists in Gilbert, AZ is seeking an Advance Practice Provider (PA or NP) for a full-time, on-site role in our outpatient hematology/oncology practice. The APP will conduct patient assessments, take histories, perform exams, and develop differential diagnoses and treatment plans with supervising physicians.

Qualifications

• Clinical practice skills in hematology/oncology patient management.
• Experience in Critical Care Medicine and Emergency Medicine for acute cases.
• Arizona licensure eligibility with DEA and BLS/ACLS certifications.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills with patient safety.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and culturally sensitive care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and histories in outpatient setting.
• Perform physical examinations and formulate differential diagnoses.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; develop treatment plans with supervising physicians.
• Coordinate follow-up care and participate in multidisciplinary discussions.
• Document encounters in the EMR and support quality initiatives.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses and care plans.
