Job summary

Banner University Medical Group in Tucson, AZ, invites an experienced Hematology/Oncology APP (NP or PA) to join our inpatient team. The role supports 4 10-hour shifts, caring for about 8 patients daily, with no holidays and no on-call requirements.

Candidates should be NP with acute-care certification or PA with inpatient experience and must be able to obtain AZ license and DEA. Oncology certification or prior oncology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner with acute care certification or Physician Assistant with inpatient experience required.
• Ability to obtain AZ license and DEA.
• Oncology certification or experience desired.
• Internal candidates with ICU experience encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient hematology/oncology care for admitted patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver state-of-the-art treatment.
• Support ongoing clinical trials and comprehensive patient care.
• Manage patient load with an average of 8 per day and 4 10-hour shifts.
