Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System in Akron is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP, PA, CNS) for Hematology Oncology. The role covers outpatient Hematology and Oncology patients with infusion suite coverage, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Eligible candidates include Family/Adult or AcuteCertified NPs or PAs with oncology experience, and an APRN program graduate.

Qualifications

• APRN/PA/CNS pathways required (MSN/PA Studies master’s)
• English language proficiency: oral and written
• Oncology experience preferred or strong acute/internal medicine background

Responsibilities

• Conducts patient histories and physical examinations
• Orders and interprets labs and imaging
• Performs routine and specialized procedures as credentialed
• Prescribes medications within licensure and policy
• Educates patients about disease, treatment options and side effects
• Participates in multi-disciplinary rounds and care coordination
• Facilitates discharge planning and continuity of care
