Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA/CNS) for Hematology/Oncology as a PRN role. The position will float across West Side Regional Hospitals (Avon, Fairview, and Lutheran) with weekend and weekday coverage as needed.

Ideal candidates have oncology experience; new graduates are not considered. The role emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention and multi-disciplinary collaboration in delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• MSN required upon hire or within 3 years for external hires and internal hires moving from a non-APRN licensed role to an APRN licensed role.
• Graduate of an accredited APRN program.
• If in neonatal care service area Master’s Degree is required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Conducts thorough medical histories and physical examinations as indicated.
• Prescribes and monitors medications as allowed by license.
• Educates patients about disease, treatments and side effects.
• Collaborates with the multi-disciplinary care team to ensure quality care.
• Participates in rounds and refers patients to appropriate specialists.
• Manages discharge planning and continuity of care.
