Job summary

Cleveland Clinic’s Cancer Institute seeks a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (adult, family or acute care) to cover Hematology/Oncology across Avon, Fairview, and Lutheran sites. Inpatient and outpatient duties include infusion coverage and chemotherapy management.

Candidates with oncology experience are preferred; strong collaboration with the care team, and ongoing professional development are required. Schedule is Monday–Friday with occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in hematology/oncology preferred.
• Ability to manage infusion therapy and chemo/supportive care.
• Strong patient education and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take medical histories and perform exams; order and interpret tests.
• Prescribe and monitor medications per licensure.
• Educate patients about disease and treatments; manage side effects.
• Participate in rounds and collaborate with care team.
• Refer patients to specialists as needed.
