Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking an Advance Practice Professional in Hematology/Oncology to manage individualized patient care, perform assessments, and coordinate treatments in a collaborative clinical environment. Candidates should ideally possess a Master's Degree in Nursing or be a certified Physician Assistant.

This role requires strong clinical skills and communication abilities, as well as the capacity to provide comprehensive evaluations and follow-up for patients. The position is located in Bethlehem, West Virginia, emphasizing an inclusive and equitable workplace.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CCNE accredited nursing program with Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• National Certification by one of the recognized APRN Certification Centers.
• Hematology/Oncology, acute care, internal medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages comprehensive and individualized care for patients and their families.
• Completes daily rounds; consults and/or pre-treatment evaluations in the infusion center.
• Documents the plan of care, interventions, and evaluations in the medical record.
