Responsibilities

• Test Performance: Performs accurate and appropriate testing of specimens received in the laboratory according to protocol.
• Test Result Reporting: Reports results in a timely manner and documents required notifications for critical values.
• Quality Control: Performs QC procedures and analyzes results, reporting discrepancies to supervision.
• Maintenance & Calibration: Conducts routine maintenance and calibration of instruments as scheduled.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnoses and resolves issues with instruments, reagents, or specimens and notifies supervisors.
• Safety & Compliance: Adheres to Universal Precautions, PPE use, chemical hygiene and safety policies.
