Job summary

South Shore Health System’s laboratory is seeking a Lab Tech/Technologist to analyze specimens and report results in chemistry and hematology per protocol. A Baccalaureate in a relevant science is preferred, with ASCP MT or MT-Eligible status and at least one internship.

Responsibilities include performing tests, reporting results timely, maintaining quality controls, calibrating equipment, troubleshooting, and upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant science preferred.
• One year clinical laboratory internship preferred.
• MT (ASCP) or MT Eligible (ASCP Equivalent).
• Ability to accurately perform tests and report results per protocol.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate testing of specimens per protocol.
